I am an Anniversary Research Fellow in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton. My university homepage is here. Previously, I was a postdoc in the Topology group at the University of Bonn. Before that I was a postdoc at the Max Planck Insitute for Mathematics in Bonn. My research research covers low dimensional topology, coarse geometry and algebraic K-theory. Currently I am mostly working on different aspects of the topological classification of 4-manifolds. I received my doctoral degree in May 2014 at the University of Münster under supervision of Arthur Bartels.
